The Spruce Creek Upland Club

The Spruce Creek Upland Club hunting grounds consists of 960 acres and includes a licensed shooting range facility approved for both rifle and handgun use, as well as a trap shooting facility. The Club hunting season is traditionally from September 1 to March 31 each year, operating from Tuesday through Sunday each week. Each day, a hunt may be scheduled in one of four separate fields for either;

• 9 am to noon or

• 1 pm to 5 pm

Each member owns a share in the Club and one designated shooter is named for each share. The designated shooter must be present at each hunt and they may invite guests to participate in hunts. A maximum of 4 shotguns are permitted in each hunt field at one time. All members and guests are required to sign a waiver of liability once per season.

Club staff offer bird cleaning and packaging, as well as dog handling services, if required. Each member (Shareholder) is assessed annual fees and are required to purchase a minimum number of birds each year. These amounts are re-assessed each year and ratified at the Annual General Meeting by the membership. Share price and transfer fees are determined by the Club Board and are re-assessed annually. The Club Board must approve all applicants for membership and approves all share sales and transfers. All new Club members must complete an orientation of Spruce Creek’s operations including facilities, lands and safety requirements with the Club Manager. This orientation must be completed prior to booking any hunts at the club.
